Wood briquette consists of compacted dry sawdust and shavings. The diameter of the briquettes is 7 cm.
Wood briquette is a suitable heating material for all furnaces that use solid fuels, including central heating boilers, fireplaces, Bullerjan stoves, etc.
The advantage of using wood briquettes is that little ash is produced and its calorific value is high. The ash content of wood briquettes in dry matter is 0.3% and net calorific value is 4.71 MWh per tonne.
Wood briquettes are packed either in 14-kilogramme boxes or 33-kilogramme bags – hence the use and storage of wood briquettes is easy and comfortable.
Due to its high calorific value and effective burning we recommend not filling the furnace up to the maximum, but use wood briquettes in an amount that is about 30-40% smaller than that of wood.
